Afternoon all,
I would like to thank you for your dedication and commitment to our students during these exceptionally high temperatures. The care and professionalism you have shown in continuing to provide high-quality teaching and support have been greatly appreciated.
Having walked around the building today and reviewed tomorrow's weather forecast, I have made the decision to close the school tomorrow in the interests of staff safety and wellbeing.
You are not expected to attend school tomorrow. The site will remain open and, should you wish to come in and work from one of the air-conditioned rooms, you are very welcome to do so.
To help minimise any concerns around lost learning, I would be grateful if you could upload some simple work to ClassCharts for any classes you would have been teaching tomorrow. There is no expectation that this work will be marked.
